WECAN (West Essex Community Action Network) is a Social Enterprise formed by the 3 long-standing VCSE infrastructure agencies servicing West Essex (Council for Voluntary Services Uttlesford, Rainbow Services, and Voluntary Action Epping Forest).
We are recruiting a brand new Community Enabler posts to co-ordinate community capacity building activities across the Uttlesford district, raising awareness of social isolation and loneliness and catalysing communities to come together to prevent it.

This is a fixed term post to March 2021 and will be 28 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based in Dunmow and take responsibility for the work in that geographical area. If you have experience of community co-ordination, developing community relationships/activities, co-ordinating volunteers and successfully engaging others in far reaching social movements then we want to hear from you.
