If you’re an Essex homeowner with a household income below £30,000, you may be eligible for up to £10,000 of work to make energy efficient improvements to your home.
Improvements covered by the scheme include:
- insultation
- heating, excluding gas and oil boilers
- heating controls
- ventiliation
- hot water systems
- solar thermal
- solar PV
- lighting
The funding covers the entire cost of the improvements, up to £10,000.

Applications are open for this phase of the Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery Scheme.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scheme, you must:
- own a home in Essex that is currently rated as Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) D, E, F or G
- have a household income below £30,000
