Job Description: The Adult Inclusion Officer role as part West Essex Inclusion Lifestyle Project provides a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a newly commissioned project across West Essex.

We are looking for a dynamic, organised and self-motivated individual to work across three geographic areas to support adults with learning disabilities to improve their physical physical and mental health in order to live active and fulfilled lives. You will be responsible for the recruitment, training and development of volunteers who will be deployed to support adults with learning disabilities across West Essex. You will also work closely with the Adult Inclusion Lifestyle Occupational Therapist in up skilling local service providers to offer inclusive services to assist in the development and delivery of new activities across West Essex.

They will have knowledge and experience of developing and delivering health and well being interventions, and experience of working with people with disabilities. You will have excellent inter-personal, communication and motivational skills and be able to work autonomously and flexibly. Experiencing of monitoring and evaluating the success of projects is desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to develop and sustain effective relationships with their clients, their carers and families, volunteers and a wider stakeholder and proactively promote the wider services offered by Epping District Council, Harlow Council, Uttlesford Council and wider providers.
