CVSU is taking steps to keep our staff, volunteers and service users safe during the current crisis
Following on from announcements issued by HM Government yesterday in relation to the current Coronavirus crisis, CVS Uttlesford has taken the decision to suspend the following services and activities with immediate effect:
- Dunmow Dementia Cafe
- Inclusive Activity Sessions
- Friendship Dogs visits and groups
- Dunmow Shed Inside
- Dunmow Friendship Club
- Radwinter Friendship Club
- My Weight Matters
We have not taken this decision lightly, but feel this is the most effective way at this time to safeguard our community members, includings CVSU Staff and Volunteers.
In order to maintain our commitment to the people of Uttlesford, we will be working in partnership with Uttlesford District Council to coordinate volunteer support and help requests across the district. Details of how to register support requests or to register as a volunteer will be announced shortly.
Our staff and volunteers are continuing to work together at this time from our Dunmow Hub, and we will review the situation on a daily basis. We will be using our resources to maintain contact with all existing service users, and additionally providing the service outlined above.
Thank you for your understanding.
