CVSU shortlisted for national partnership award

CVS Uttlesford were this week shortlisted for an award in the inaugural NAVCA awards recognising the contribution of voluntary sector infrastructure across the county.

The nomination which was received in the Collaboration and Partnership category was in recognition of the strong partnership work that had taken place with our partners Maldon and District CVS to set up the Essex Shed Network partnership and attract three year funding from the National Lottery for the development of Men in Shed projects and expansion of the projects reach.

Clive Emmett, CEO of CVS Uttlesford said  “We were extremely pleased to have been shortlisted for these new NAVCA awards and count ourselves privilaged to reach the point we did in the process considering the strong field.  We are also very pleased that it was in partnership with our colleagues at Maldon CVS, an organisation we find it very easy to work with collaboratively.”

MDCVS Chair Sara Kettely said ” I’m very proud to be chair of the Trustees at Maldon and District CVS working to support an amazing team headed by Sarah Troop, brilliant to be part of the collaboration with our collegaues at CVS Uttlesford”
