As a result of funding provided through the Government “Household Support Grant” scheme, CVS Uttlesford is able to provide financial assistance to people experiencing hardship this winter.
We can provide individual grants to support with utility and water costs, to a maximum of £200 per household.
We can also provide shopping vouchers for Tesco (and soon Aldi) with a face value of £60 for the purchase of fresh food, cleaning materials and sanitary items to help control the transmission of COVID-19.
Grants are subject to availability. You will be contacted by a Community Responder to discuss your needs and then they will make a recommendation of the most-suitable support available. This may include signposting/referral to other agencies who can provide specialist support and advice, such as Citizen’s Advice Uttlesford who have warm homes advisors, and debt management advisors.

Due to high levels of demand, please allow three working days for a response. Payments are made direct to suppliers on your behalf.
