The road to recovery – getting back into the community

CVSU has been hitting the road over the past week – and we’re out and about again with our Mobile Community hub. We could be coming to an area near you!

We’ve been waiting a long time to get out on the road with our mobile community hub – branded “Drinks with Community Links” and delivered in partnership with UDC Communities, and a raft of hard-working and willing volunteers, without whom we couldn’t be reaching as many parts of Uttlesford as we are.

The aim of our current two weeks of outreach is to come to where you live, create a bit of interest and encourage people to venture out of their homes and start to reconnect with their community. We have free coffee, tea and chat – plus staff and volunteers to help with those questions you may have about local groups, services and charities that make life just that little bit better – and sometimes a whole lot better!
