The West Essex Digital Inclusion project, as part of the Digital Boomers programme, has continued to strengthen as awareness has grown. Since the project started in January, there are now six Living Smart Homes, where real-life people, with real problems, have been fitted with technology packages to help them with their everyday needs.
Digital Boomers Essex say: “We have a network of hundreds of Digital Learners and Digital Buddies across our three districts to enhance the digital skills of the population. Over the next few months we will be promoting visits to our Living Smart Homes so that people can see the tech in action and can gain an understanding of how this equipment can help them stay safe and well at home.
