Youth Service – Early Help Survey

ECC Youth Services are currently reviewing their core age range of 13-19 (and up to 25 for SEND YP)  and are considering the potential to include ages 10-12 to support transitions into the teenage years and provide early help through our targeted services and increase our reach to support local community groups working with this age group.

The National Youth Agency states ‘Youth workers usually work with young people aged between 11 and 25 years, although with adolescence starting younger in the modern age, the NYA recognised youth work from ages 8-25’.

As part of the research, they would like to capture the views of the wider community. A survey has been created for professionals, parents and young people.  The information gained from the surveys will help identify current services available to this younger age range, build an understanding of needs and inform any proposed changes to how the youth service operate in the future.

Please use the links in the attached flyer to access the survey. It is very quick and easy to complete and would appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to share your views and circulate with your teams, schools and wider networks
